What is a Security Token?
A Security Token is a small portable device that generates a one-time password to use each time you log in to Business Online PLUS.  This password changes every 32 seconds for your protection.  This helps ensure that your information is secure, protecting you from fraud and identity theft.

Why do we need Security Tokens?
With Security Tokens, we’re adding another layer of security to protect our customers’ information and their online banking accounts.  Security Tokens also guard against ever-increasing email scams called phishing and pharming.

How do I log in with a Security Token?
Log in to Business Online PLUS using your Access ID and the 8-digit One Time Password displayed on your Security Token, plus your personal 4-digit PIN number.  Static passwords are no longer used.  View our Video Demo or print an Enhanced Online Security brochure for more information.

How do I know I am at the valid Online Banking site?
A 4-digit Site Authentication Value will be displayed confirming that you are at The RiverBank’s legitimate Web site.  If your Site Authentication Value does not match, then start over or contact The RiverBank at 888-294-2183 for assistance.

Do I need my Security Token to log in?
Yes.  Once the Security Token is activated, you will need it each time you log in to Business Online PLUS.  This provides an additional layer of security for your protection.

Do I have to activate my Security Token?
Yes.  All customers identified as Security Token users must activate and use their Security Token to log in to Business Online PLUS.  Important:  Security Tokens must be activated within 30 days of receiving it to avoid being locked out.  If not activated during that period, you will need to contact the bank for instructions.

How do I log in if I don’t have my Security Token with me?
Choose the Lost or Damaged Token link on the log in page.  The RiverBank will automatically e-mail you a one-time static password to use to log in.  The bank will then notify you about a replacement Security Token.

Do I need to install software on my computer?
No additional software is required to be installed on your computer.  Once activated, the Security Token is immediately ready for use.

How much do Security Tokens cost?
There is no fee for your initial Security Token.  Replacement Security Tokens cost $15.

How do I receive my Security Token?
When you sign up for Business Online PLUS you will work with an account representative from The RiverBank to determine your Business’ online security needs.  You may have multiple employees performing Online banking functions.  Each employee will be enrolled with Online Enhanced Security or will be issued a Security Token.

Once you have received your Security Token, log in to Business Online PLUS using your regular Access ID and Password.  From the menu, select OPTIONS, and then ENABLEMENT.  You will be guided through the enablement process.

What happens if my Security Token is lost or damaged?
The RiverBank will automatically e-mail you a one-time static password to use to log in.  The bank will then notify you about a replacement Security Token.  There is no fee for your initial Security Token.  Replacement Security Tokens cost $15.

Are instructions provided for using my Security Token?
Online instructions and printed brochures are provided to assist you in activating your Security Token.
