What is UChoose Rewards?
A rewards program where our Personal Debit Cardholders earn points everytime you use your RiverBank Debit Card and sign for your purchases. You can also earn additional points for shopping at participating retailers with your card. Redeem your points for anything of your choice from a vast online rewards catalog.
How does the UChoose Rewards program work?
Simply use your enrolled card to make qualifing purchases, which may include any combination of the following transactions: signature, online bill pay, or pin-less debit.
How much does it cost to participate?
There’s no cost. Membership in UChoose Rewards is absolutely free for Debit Cardholders of Central Bank, so start shopping and earning today.
Can I share points with other accounts?
Yes, all registered cards within the same checking account automatically earn points together. Each card with a unique card number can register on the site and create a user ID. All cards within an account automatically earn points together, once one card registers the entire account can access the program site through that single log in.
If I have multiple Personal Debit Cards, can I link them together to earn reward points?
If you have multiple Personal Debit Card accounts with us you can link them together to meet point requirements for larger items more quickly. Visit the Profile screen to link more accounts to your program. In order to link debit card accounts to one already registered, debit card accounts must be unregistered. You will actually be registering the additional accounts as you join them together.
How do I change my e-mail address on my account?
Once you are logged into your account on the UChoose Rewards website, simply click on the "Profile" link. Once you access your profile, you can enter a new email address, click Update and your account will be updated.
How do I change my password?
Once you are logged into your account on the UChoose Rewards website, simple click on the "Account Profile" link. Once you access your profile, you can delete the old password, replace and confirm it with a new one. Once you have entered the new password simply click Update, and your account will be updated.
REGISTRATION
When do I start earning points?
All Personal Debit Cardholders are automatically enrolled in the UChoose Program. Once you register at www.uchooserewards.com, you will be able to view the points you have earned since your card was opened.
I have a joint account - can I have separate log-in information for each individual on the account?
Yes - Each card with a unique card number can register on the site and create a User ID. All cards within an account automatically earn points together, once one card registers the entire account can access the program site through that single log in. But you can have a separtate User Name and Password on the same account. Simply follow the same registration process for the additional card(s).
What if my card number changes?
If your card number changes after you have registered at the UChoose Rewards website, simply re-register the account for security purposes. All history will remain the same.
Who is currently eligible for UChoose Rewards?
Eligibility is limited to participating Personal Debit Card accountholders of Central Bank who have active debit cards, in good standing. To view your point details, and access online offers, cardholders must first register online at www.uchooserewards.com.
EARN POINTS
How do I earn points?
You earn points by using your card, typically for signing for purchases. To learn more about the specific merchant offers and transactions that qualify to earn points, consult the Earn Points page at www.uchooserewards.com.
Do I earn points on the transactions like pay at the pump, small dollar transactions, online and automatic bill payment transactions when I do not sign?
Yes. You will earn points on these transactions also.
What is the difference between the available transaction types ?
IMPORTANT: Only Signature transactions are allowed by your Debit Card from Central Bank.
How long does it take to see the points in my account after a purchase?
Earned points will generally appear on you account within a few days; however, in some cases, they can take up to 40 days to appear on the Points Details page. If points from qualifying purchases do not appear within 40 days from the purchase date, please contact us at 888-294-2183.
What happens if I return my purchase, do I keep the points?
No - if you return a purchase, the points will be deducted from your account. In the event that this situation causes your points balance to become negative, future card use pays off the negative points balance. Refer to your program FAQs, found at the bottom of the web page.
Where can I shop to earn points with participating retailers?
There are hundreds of participating retailer offers to view onthe Earn Points page of the UChoose Rewards program website. All offers are updated regularly - to stay current, visit the program website regularly.
Will I get credit if I accidentally go directly to the retailer's website?
No - you will not get points. Only clicks through the www.uchooserewards.com website to a participating retailer accrue points. If the cardholder realy wants the points, the item must be returned and the purchase made through www.uchooserewards.com.
Why do I have to shop through the link on your site instead of going directly through the retailer's site?
Using the link on www.uchooserewards.com is the only way to ensure that the retailer recognizes that you are participating in the UChoose Rewards program, and are eligible to earn points on your purchase. If you shop directly through the retailer website, points will not be awarded to your UChoose account.
Is there a difference between a specific retailer's in-store and online offers?
Yes. A participating retailer may have multiple offers at a given point in time, one for in-store and another for online purchases. There may be a difference between the number of points earned when shopping online through the program website and the number of points earned when shopping in the retail store. Some major retailers only offer points online, through www.uchooserewards.com, and not in their stores. The terms and conditions will clarify details of each offer, including how to earn points and all other details needed for a purchase to qualify.
Is there a maximum number of points I can earn ?
Yes. The maximum number of points you can earn annually is 200,000.
REEDEMING POINTS
When can I redeem my points?
You must accumulate 1,000 (available) points before you can redeem your points. After that, you can redeem for any number of amazing items. Simply look for your “Total Points” at the top of any page to see how many points you have available for redemption.
What is the difference between "Available Points" and "Earned Points"?
Available points differ from earned points. Points become available in the month after they are earned.
What can I redeem my points for?
Redemption options for all earned points can be view through the Redeem Points page of www.uchooserewards.com. Points are redeemed on a first-in/first-out basis with the oldest points redeemed first.
How long do I have to redeem my points?
Your points will expire after 3 years. All accumulated Rewards Points which have not been redeemed previously will expire and be forfieted immediately in the event your account is closed, terminated, or cancelled for any reason, in accordance with the program terms and conditions.
Where can I see the points I have redeemed?
Redemptions may be referenced on the Points Details screen by the date of the redemption transaction.
What if I do not have a computer and I want to redeem my points?
UChoose Rewards is an online-only program. In order to participate, a cardholder must register and redeem points at www.uchooserewards.com. If you do not have a computer or internet access a great alternative is to visit your local public library. There you will be able to create a free email address through sites like Google and Yahoo, complete registration and redeem your points.
What if I cancel or close my account, while I still have points earned but not redeemed?
